Aus den Fugen

William Shakespeare's Hamlet was already of the opinion that ‘time has come apart at the seams’. Our world is in a state of change and turmoil: wars, climate crisis, technology mania, changes in the economy, increasing digitalisation, fake news, social changes - for many people, this triggers fears about the future and even existential fears. In his photo series »Aus den Fugen« (2024-2025), Jürgen Sobkowiak takes a critical look at our time and at people. The series does not focus on the individual image, but on the overall effect of several images and text graphics. The series is still in the development phase and currently comprises 19 works.
